C&C YR Red Resurrection 2.2 - Soviet Mission 9, The Hound and The Fox [Red Alert 2]
37C&C YR Red Resurrection 2.2 for C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge is a mod that was released in April 1st of 2018 by Omegabolt. Soviet Mission 9, The Hound And The Fox from the original Command & Conquer Red Alert 2 single player campaign with some additional features listed in the modification's website. The modification uses Yuri's Revenge as its base for the rules.
Yuri's Revenge is an expansion pack for C&C Red Alert 2, released in the October 2001. It contains 7 missions for both Soviets and the Allies, it's focused around time travelling back in time to stop Yuri's secret plan of dominating the world by activating secretly constructed Psychic Dominator devices during the war. Missions are way harder than these in vanilla Red Alert 2 campaign but are still much easier than those in C&C Red Alert 2 Mental Omega 3.3 or C&C Red Alert 2 Mental Omega 2.0. There was also planned a campaign for Yuri but it was scrapped due to the time constraints.
Command & Conquer: Red Alert 2 is a 2.5D real-time strategy computer game by Westwood Pacific, which was released for Microsoft Windows on October 23, 2000 as the follow-up to Command & Conquer: Red Alert. Set in the early 1970s, Red Alert 2 supposedly picks up at the conclusion of the Allied campaign of the first game, but this has been subject to debate. Its expansion is Command & Conquer: Yuri's Revenge.
There is only one thing left to fully conquer the United States - its president Michael Dugan still hides, but we tracked him to some sort of sinkhole in San Antonio, Texas. He is guarded by his Secret Service and the remnants of the US Army while being fully surrounded by the Red Army around, if he tries to hide that's a quite terrible idea. Especially considering a fact that both Americas - South and North are almost in the total control of the Soviets, escaping to the Mexico sounds really dumb, Mr President. Your objective, and the only one no matter what the cost - is to mind control the US President Michael Dugan, everything else is either expendable or not important to the cause. Like in the original Red Alert 2 campaign, you start with the 2 Psi Troopers, use them wisely - one of them at the beginning of the mission captures the IFV roaming around. To the north you have the 2 Engineers guarded by GIs - eliminate those GIs and capture the Engineers one by one with your Psi Troopers to get the control of Barracks and the Battle Lab. Then head to the east and get some experience for your IFV while mind controlling the Sniper near the Barracks - keep in mind that Snipers in Red Resurrection have the EMP rounds against vehicles. These rounds are very helpful to keep the enemy unit immobilised and practically defenseless against anything but the Sniper loses lots of his range so don't send him too far away without a cover. You can also get the Tech Airpad to get the Conscripts reinforcements from the airplane, but keep in mind that every Paradrop costs you 750$ - it's not free like it was in C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge. Storming the main entry is not a good idea, that's why you could destroy the southern wall with luring out the dogs and SEALs, send the Spy through the gap and disable the Power Plants making Prism Towers offline. With power offline you can send your Conscripts to garrison the Alamo, destroying any Prism Towers, SEALs, Secret Service, Power Plants and other hostiles nearby - then the President is able to mind control easily.
