🇯🇵 Casio PB-770 & FA-11: Part 3 (Dismantling the FA-11 Data Recorder) [TCE #0528]
Japanese electronics ... 🤯 The built-in cassette recorder ... the "Data Recorder" ... doesn't work so assuming it's a broken belt. But it is not easy to get into. A lot of boards & tiny screws to remove, and also wires to de-solder.

The belt doesn't seem to fit how I think it should go so maybe I need to get a slightly smaller belt ... or, you know, RTFM ... if there is a relevant Service Manual available.
So no point going further until I've figured out what belt is needed, and then actually securing the belt.
Replacing the 6V internal battery of the FA-11 should also be done ... appears to be five 1.2V C-size cells in an L-shape. The battery is a National (now Panasonic) model P-17N-5A28 with 1650mAh capacity (330mAh per cell).
