ππ° COMX-35 (1983) using the CDP1802 processor #8bitcomputer #retrogaming #c64 #boulderdash
The COMX-35 was released in Australia in mid-1983 for AU$299 (about AU$1010 in 2021 dollars ... ouch!)
These machines use the RCA CDP1802 processor which is famous for being "one of the first" microprocessors sent into space. Apparently the Intel 4004 has the honour of being the first (controlling an instrument), but the CDP1802 was the first to control a spacecraft. It is famous for being the first CMOS microprocessor.
