Cavalcadence plays Monk 7: Synthwave soundtrack! (Girlfriend Records)
For anybody who's interested in custom Cadences (or other characters), the official NecroDancer FAQ has some info about creating custom characters, and even has a link to the pinned thread on the official forums, where people have posted some of their custom creations:

So I was kinda curious what the new "Synthwave" remix (by Girlfriend Records) would be like when used by a character with an actual beat (as opposed to Bard, who has no beat), and since I figured some of you might be curious as well... I set Monk's soundtrack to GFR, and played through the game with Monk. =)
Anyway, here's the video! And if anybody was wondering, yes, I did intentionally spend a little extra time at the end of at least a couple levels, in order to hear a little more of the song. ^^ Anyway, hope you enjoy!
The mini-bosses and bosses I encountered during this run were:
Zone 1: Green Dragon, Gray Direbat, Gray Minotaur, and King Conga 1.
Zone 2: Gray Minotaur, Red Dragon, Gray Minotaur, and Deep Blues 2.
Zone 3: Gray Direbat, Blue Dragon, Green Banshee, and Death Metal 3.
Zone 4: Green Banshee, Ogre, The Mommy, and Coral Riff 4.

0:30 Mini-boss: Green Dragon
0:30 Ack, a wraith just blocked my intended retreat! This could be bad... ^^;
0:41 Whew! Made it! Oh wait, another wraith... can't relax yet! =p

3:40 Realized I should've attacked the barrel when I was at half a heart, then debating whether I should push it down the Trapdoor or bomb it now. ^^;
3:46 Hmm, I was hoping for something more useful than an apple, but... ah well. =)
4:21 Only three kills away from a Blood Bow healing, so might as well use the Blood Shovel to take a look inside the shop. =)
4:40 Mini-boss: Gray Direbat
4:50 Whoops, wasn't intending to create a pile of 50 gold... is there a way to get the Lucky Charm out of this? Um, umm... not sure! I guess I'll just get some gold from the Leprechaun instead. ^^;

7:55 First damage taken (Gray Minotaur). Was trying to retreat from the white monkey, attacked the minotaur instead, and things went downhill from there. =p
