Welcome back to today's Creative Deck Profile, this time taking on the HERO archetype with a Neos flavor once again, but this time, with a Branded twist. The HERO archetype is comprised by a variety of subthemes, from the all-DARK Destiny HEROes to the multi-attribute Elemental HEROes, but this build focuses heavily on letting Elemental HERO Neos shine with his contact Fusions. With the Neo-Spacian archetype in tow, supported by Neo Space Connector of course, Neos can amass an army of wickedly powerful HERO Fusions, whether it is Elemental HERO Shining Neos Wingman, or Elemental HERO Sunrise. Since the last time I covered this theme, a new Favorite Elemental HERO Fusion has emerged - Elemental HERO Flame Wingman - Infernal Rage - which gives the deck even more consistency to tutor a Favorite card when Special Summoned. If you happened to use Neos as Fusion Material, it can even Tribute itself to summon a new Elemental HERO from your Deck or Extra Deck, such as Elemental HERO Sunrise or Elemental HERO Spirit of Neos, to keep the party going. The other major support card to come out since my last coverage of this strategy is Protection of the Elements, a Counter Trap that can be tutored by Spirit and that negates an opponent Spell/Trap.
Now this deck was heavily inspired by the release of one more 'Favorite' card, Winged Kuriboh LV6. This Level 6 monster can Special Summon itself from the hand/GY by banishing an Elemental HERO Fusion from your hand/field/GY, but while it is on the board, it can be tributed to destroy an opponent's monster that activates its effect on the field. This may not seem like much at first, but since it is also treated as an Elemental HERO itself, it can easily accessed from the deck, as well as constantly recur itself back from the GY to disrupt the opponent even more. Combine its burn damage with something like Elemental HERO Neos Kluger and Neos Wiseman, and you will quickly whittle your opponent down to 0.
The final component of today's deck is a relatively small Branded engine, headlined by Fallen of Albaz and Branded Fusion. With these support cards, this deck can unlock further boss monsters, such as Mirrorjade the Iceblade Dragon, as well as look to Fusion Summon another HERO via the effect of Albion the Branded Dragon. It also serves as one final way to get your LIGHT or DARK monsters out of the deck, such as Cross Keeper or Winged Kuriboh LV6, so there's really a ton of innate synergies here.
