While I didn't intend to continue Celeste again until next week, I ended up feeling like playing it again on Thursday rather than playing shmups. Rather than continuing my main playthrough, I decided to see how quickly I could get to the epilogue on a new file.

I had a few reasons for doing this. I was curious how long it would take me now that I've been playing for triple the time I originally spent on the same portion of the game (a somewhat unfair comparison since I wouldn't be collecting berries here). I wanted to intentionally collect zero berries to see if it would affect the epilogue. And I wanted to try out a code I had read about, which you'll only see the effect of an hour into the playthrough.

I do not claim this to be a proper speedrun at all, since it's nowhere near competent enough, I still die a lot and don't even remember some parts of the maps, and I took a break in the middle. I went back and watched some bits of GDQ runs from a few years ago (including the TASBot run that was probably the origin of the CovertMuffin easter egg) and I'm not sure I'd ever want to run this seriously, it'd probably kill my hands. But I might try doing this again after playing the remainder of the postgame.
