In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Champion with a raw damage% focused strategy! Champion is definitely the worst skull in the game. He on a fundamental level simply doesn't work. His energy mechanic is clunky as hell, as all his abilities cost a ton of energy and he has no easy way to replenish his energy outside of basic attacking. This means when you're using his skills you're furthering yourself from the main draw of Champion: the Time Slow ultimate move, which can only be cast at 100/100 energy. This means you're either casting his skills and not casting the ultimate, or not casting the skills to save for the ultimate and using his below average basic attacks. All in all, Champion needs more than just buffs; he needs a rework from the bottom up. That said, that doesn't mean we can't enjoy a Champion run, or that Champion is incapable of doing good things. Today, we try and see if Champion can do good things. So, that's today's run! Joined by Monkey, can these two skulls people deem unworthy show there's something more to them than people realize?
