In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Prisoner on a Crit Item focused run! Prisoner is one of the strongest characters in the entire game, and is also one of the more capable characters at scaling their damage with just their base mechanics. The thing that makes Prisoner so uniquely powerful is, for one, the cells mechanic. As Prisoner attacks enemies they drop cells and as you pick up these cells over time they buff various stats, such as damage%, skill cooldown, and damage resistance. However, the far more compelling thing for Prisoner is the cursed chests he can find throughout his runs. When you open a cursed chest it increases your damage by 100%, but also makes you take 50% more damage. Enormously powerful, but also very risky. If you play your cards right though you'll easily be able to use this to your benefit, avoid getting hit whenever possible. To really capitalize further on our boons, we'll be building around Crit Items, and on top of it all taking Treasure+! So, that's today's run. Prisoner flies solo, so no partner to be found today, can Prisoner once again show why he's considered to be so powerful?
