In this episode of Skul the Hero Slayer, I'll be using Recruit with a Crit Items focused strategy! Recruit is a really cool and strong character who I often feel gets overlooked. I think this in part is because many players don't swap, because Recruit's swap at legendary is what sets him apart. Up until legendary Recruit is fairly mid, but once he reaches there his swap summons a plethora of random soldiers that begin attacking enemies. These as well as his soldiers summoned from his skills remain on the field after you swap to your partner. The way I always talk about this and the way it should be seen is that if you're swapping with Recruit you're essentially playing two skulls at once, since Recruit's entire purpose is to place summons onto the field. When you swap to your partner and do whatever it is that character's role is, Recruit's purpose is still in effect. The more you swap and the more you cast your skills the stronger Recruit becomes. He's effective at most archetypes as well, but today we'll be going for a Crit Item run! So, that's the strategy for today! Joined by Swordsman, can these two once more show their worth and put an end to Alexander's tyranny?
