Chrono Trigger (SNES) - Part 11: The Fated Hour
1Time to head to the Carnival and to rack up some points.
Hitting the bell was the most consistent for me. I racked up 40 points in a few minutes then headed to the E tent which is Norstein Bekkler's lab.
The clone figure gesture matching game might take a few tries to nail down but you'll win the clone and it appears in Crono's room. Borrow it and head to the Future and head to the Keeper's Dome. Balthazar will help you and you can head off to Death Peak. You'll need to interact with the first creature to turn it into a tree then when the wind is low head to the second.
On the next screen head W for a chest then climb the nearby wall twice and head E for a save point and another chest on the next screen. Head in the cave in the NW of this screen and fight the Lavos Spawn. Don't target the shell and you should be fine. This party had reliable enough healing.
Nab the chest and head to the next screen and follow the path to go back into the cave for a chest and a switch in the next room to the S which opens up the middle of the cave, so backtrack. Nab the chest and head N for another Lavos Spawn which is pretty much identical.
The slippery floor took me a while to work out, but after crossing it follow the linear path along and you'll come to another Lavos Spawn.
Beat it and it will leave the shell behind, climb it like the creature suggested.
Nab the chest before heading N and the Chrono Trigger and Pendant react. We're sent back in time and steal Crono away from the moment he died, resurrecting him essentially.
We then head back to the End of Time and are told about all the problems in the world, although we can head for Lavos right now, if we wanted.
There's a decent chunk of side content, and it helps flesh out every character so they'll get done in the next parts.
The titles won't match the save file name at the end of the part now, obviously.
