CiB Game Boy Theater - Bubble Ghost and Beavis and Butthead (Episode 78)
1The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.
Bubble Ghost is a game I never heard of before - so the chances that it is a puzzle game is precisely... 100%. But hey, this is a pretty fun puzzle games, all things considered. The game name is literal, as you are a ghost with a bubble. You have to get the bubble through the maze. Solid, early Game Boy title - definitely worth it if you are a fan of puzzle games!
I also new knew that Beavis and Butthead came out on the Game Boy. Most are familiar with the cool but way-too-hard adventure game on Genesis, and the more straight-and-to-the-point SNES version. The Game Boy version is like... another adventure game? I'm honestly surprised that the quality on this game is so relatively high. As we mention, I might do this as a full playthrough at some point.
