CiB Game Boy Theater - Burgertime and Duck Tales 2 (Episode 78)
1The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.
Burgertime! It's... Burgertime. It's an arcade game I was never really that big into, but I will say this is a very nice re-imagining of the game. It's not nearly as magical as the Donkey Kong re-imagining for the Game Boy, but it seems like Burgertime fans will like this one!
And then we have Duck Tales 2 - decently late Game Boy release, and this game is very faithful to its NES counterpart. I couldn't tell you if it's a one to one remake, but it really feels like Duck Tales, and plays well. Very solid platformer to add to your Game Boy library --- and with that, we have one of the rare episodes where both games are pretty good!
