CiB Let's Try - Doomsday Warrior (SNES)
Doomsday Warrior was released in March 1993 as a Super Nintendo exclusive. It was developed by Laser Soft (also known as Telenet Japan). Laser Soft also developed the Valis games, and went defunct in 2007. Doomsday Warrior was published by Renovation Products, which was the American subsidiary of Telenet Japan.
Wow, this game is just awful. I mean, truly, truly awful. There's a lot of bad 16-bit games, but bad 2D fighting games may be my least favorite genre of all-time. Pick an aspect of the game, and it's awful -- the music is ear-grating, the controls are somehow both extremely simple and non-responsive, and worst of all, the game is just boring as all get-out.
It's pretty safe to say that you can skip playing this one. This 12 minutes of gameplay was absolutely painful, so I can't imagine playing it enough to actually get good at the game. Thanks for watching!
