Rastan Saga II was a port of a 1988 arcade game, released for the Genesis in 1991. It was developed and published by Taito. The original Rastan Saga was an 1987 arcade game that was mostly ported to computers.

Hoo-boy, this feels like a 1988 arcade game. It's a relatively early Sega Genesis game, but it STILL feels antiquated compared to other early Sega Genesis releases. In some ways, I like the fact that the boss battles are true one-on-one battles, but it's also pretty darn lame. At least there is some defense vs offense going on there. This is a 16 bit game that feels way, way older than that. I'd pass on this one unless you really enjoy arcade ports. Thanks for watching!
