The Terminator was released in 1992 as a Sega exclusive (with ports on the Master System and Game Gear). It was developed by Probe Software (which is essentially Acclaim, which is essentially LJN lite), and published by Virgin Games (M.C. Kids, Aladdin [Genesis], Lion King [Genesis]).

This version of The Terminator is different from the NES version, which is also different from the Sega CD version - why is a game for a movie released 8 years earlier so confusing?

Anyway, this game is awful. Way to give a bomb (thrown in an arc) as the first weapon. That should be a subsidiary weapon - a weapon you use in certain situations. Also, thanks for having quickly respawning enemies. Also, thanks for having bizarre item drops --- sometimes very frequent, sometimes not at all. This game is really, really awful. Heck, it might even be as bad as the NES one. Why are all Terminator games so bad? Oh well, thanks for watching!
