CiB Let's Try - The Warriors (Xbox)
The Warriors was released in late 2005 for the PS2 and Xbox - it was developed by Rockstar Toronto (GTA V, Red Dead 2, Bully), and published by Rockstar (GTA V forever and ever).
So this is one of those games that I see people go crazy for at the store, and I always wondered what it was all about. I'm going into this a) having never seen The Warriors movie, and b) having not played a Rockstar game in earnest since... Vice City or so, so I'm definitely not a huge Rockstar fan.
Overall, I can tell why people like this game. It's clearly well-made, with very good graphics, and phenomenal voice work, all stables of Rockstar games. It just isn't a game I would play the whole way through, partly due to the overall violence and classic Rockstar nihilism, and these types of long beat-em-up games begin to wear on me. I sound like such a boomer, but Rockstar games can really bring you down, especially this story about a bunch of street gangs in 1970s New York.
If I did play it, I would definitely play it 2 player the whole way through. Overall, if you're a fan of Rockstar games, this seems like a must have. Thanks for watching!
