We had the Xbox hooked up after playing Cold Fear, so we thought we'd actually play what is probably a good game (at least, much better than Cold Fear) in Stubbs the Zombie!

Stubbs the Zombie was released in October 2005 for the Original Xbox and PC. It was developed by Wideload Games (this was their first game, then 2008's Hail to the Chimp, 2009's Texas Cheat Em, 2010's Guilty Party, and some Avengers iPad game... that's it... what?), and published by Aspyr (it seems like they mostly port games to PC and iOS).

Okay, this game is weirder than even I thought. I was expecting a silly, story-based game where you slowly gain a zombie army. What I got was a silly Halo engine mod where you slowly gain a zombie army.

I'm not necessarily disappointed, but this is way different that what I expected. Of course, we only got about 20 minutes in, so it seems that more and more will be added to the game, but I really did expect more initial story about Stubbs himself --- maybe they give more later, of course. Either way, an interesting game that you should check out any way you can!
