Colin McRae Rally 3 by Codemasters, 2003.

Codemasters third McRae game was a case of evolution, not revolution. In the handling stakes, it was actually a few steps back, being much more arcade and chuckable than Colin McRae Rally 2.0

The game does have an interesting championship mode where you have to "be" Colin McRae, racing for his Ford team (at the time). It also features (seemingly officially licensed) parts of the Pikes Peak hill climb in the USA stages.

This PC version eventually rolled out in Summer 2003, some time after the console versions, which came out the previous Autumn.

Overall, it's not bad, it's just that the next McRae games were a lot better!
