Rage's second rally game (after 1994's Power Drive) was Rage Rally. It was originally developed as a bit of a graphics showcase in the year 2000. The engine used in this game went on to power eRacer in 2001, with the four tracks from Rage Rally being later added to eRacer as free DLC.
Rage Rally was eventually released as a budget title by GSP in 2002, but by then was looking a bit out-of-date. The game only contains 2 fictional cars, as well as the 4 mentioned tracks.
There's no rain/snowfall, and no night racing. I've disabled the in-game music for this video. The sound of dust skidding appears to be a bit broken! Graphically, this game is pretty dark.
