CiB Game Boy Theater - Wheel of Fortune and Tiny Toon Adventures 2: Movie Madness (Episode 103)
The Original Game Boy is one of the biggest 'game changers' in the history of video games, and essentially ushered in the popularity of handheld games. There are many games that will be classic forever. There are, however, a much, much higher number of simply awful, forgettable, or downright weird games. CiB Game Boy Theater shows you some of the games you might not (and shouldn't be...) familiar with.
Wheel of Fortune! It's Wheel of Fortune. Wheel of Fortune sure has been Wheel of Fortune for 30 years on video game systems. I wish the cartridge wouldn't have glitched, but who are we kidding, we wouldn't have gotten that right lol.
Tiny Toon games are always, at the very least, above average, and Montana's Movie Madness checks all the boxes you want to see from a solid Game Boy platformer release. You have multiple hits, you have multiple lives, the game is forgiving with where it restarts you, and the game overall is solidly fun for what it is.
As mentioned, the only main complaint we have is that you move a bit too slow - but beyond that, this is a solid game that I am surprised pulls the official moniker 'Tiny Toon Adventures 2' - the NES Tiny Toon Adventures 2 is a completely, completely different game, so that throws things off a tiny bit. Regardless, we can suggest this one if you're looking for a nice, lax, Game Boy game to play. Thanks for watching!
