With my RTX 2080 Ti it's possible to run Control with full raytracing support in 1920*1080 and hit 60 FPS or more most of the time, whereas increasing the settings to my screen's native resolution of 1440p drops the frame rate down to the 30-40 FPS range. While in motion the RTX features tend to fade into the background, upon close inspection there are some neat graphical effects going on. I particularly appreciate the tangible improvement in realism resulting from transparent reflections - i.e. windows which reflect environments behind you while simultaneously allowing you to peek through to the next room. This is not enough to make me agree with Digital Foundry's statements about Control being the first "killer-app" for RTX cards, but these new features certainly add something a little extra to the overall experience.
