Corpse Party [3DS] (Pt 14): Neo Finds More of The Children's Missing Limbs, & Saves Ayumi Again
[BLIND LET'S PLAY]
Taking control of Satoshi once again, with Naomi still accompanying him, Neosekken guides the two through their closed space of Heavenly Host, and having the two work together in one of the classrooms Neo acquires the key to the custodian's room. Upon entering the room, they find a video camera and another memo written by Kou Kibiki detailing a followup report of Heavenly Host's history. The note goes into Yoshikazu Yanagihori's background as a teacher of Heavenly Host and the son of the school's principle, and in this report Neo learns that Yoshikazu was apparently struck by an illness of unknown origin that gradually degraded his personality, leading to the sequence of events that resulted in his instigation of the kidnapping and murder incident in Heavenly Host, along with the details of his arrest and conviction thanks to the testimony of the incident's sole survivor: Sachiko Shinozaki.
Later, Neo takes control of Yoshiki and Ayumi again, and after seeing their appeasement of Ryou Yoshizawa succeed the two are inspired to continue searching for the missing tongues of the other ghost children and promptly get to work searching the school using Yoshikazu's doll. Following the cryptic instructions of the doll, Neo eventually opens up a path leading to the pool and locker rooms of Heavenly Host, and upon arriving in this general area Ayumi's headaches begin to cause her enough pain to where Yoshiki convinces her to stay in the locker room while he goes on ahead to examine the pool.
In hindsight, Neo thinks Yoshiki should've made a makeshift leash out of whatever he could find and tie Ayumi to a sturdy pole in the locker room before leaving her alone. LITERALLY two minutes after leaving Ayumi to go examine the pool area, Ayumi gets possessed and throws herself into the murky water of the pool when Yoshiki isn't looking, forcing Neo to save her from drowning herself. His first & second attempts in doing this... ended poorly for him (the first attempt in particular ended up having a pretty messy outcome), but come the third attempt he managed to succeed to succeed in keeping Ayumi from dying in her supernaturally-influenced, misguided attempt at becoming a mermaid. Unfortunately for Yoshiki, he doesn't have mouthwash, a tooth brush and a working shower head at the ready, because shortly after regaining her senses Ayumi returns Yoshiki's act of bravery with hysterical sobbing over how filthy the pool made her and how, once again, she hates their current predicament - no proper "thank you for saving my life" to be had, again. Neo's beginning to notice a pattern when it comes to Ayumi's general treatment of Yoshiki almost every time something goes wrong or he is forced to save her life, and the pattern is slowly beginning to irritate Neo a bit.
After this Neo empties the pool and has Yoshiki and Ayumi examine it, and in it they find another tongue belonging to one of the ghost children. After this, Neo returns to the first wing of the school, where he, Yoshiki and Ayumi soon learn the location of a third tongue - right in the very spot where Mayu was pulverized earlier. Yoshiki and Ayumi don't think themselves capable of digging through Mayu's remains to search for the third tongue, but fortunately for them they end up unexpectedly receiving some help with this problem...
