π¨π³ Creality Ender-3 V3: Part 1 (It doesn't work) [TCE #0513]
So I finally could afford to get another 3D printer (the Weedo X40 has been out of service for some time). Unfortunately, haven't had the best "first experience" with Creality.
They advertise as having local stock in a local (Sydney) warehouse with free shipping and were having a sale (AU$479).
Excellent ... that should mean it'll arrive in three days. After being sent an invalid tracking number and with no response to any email queries, it finally arrived two weeks later ... so it came from China then? Why not just tell me that, rather than lie and treat me like a chump?
Anyway, it arrived. Was simple to put together ... and it doesn't work.
It keeps giving a "110" error:
key:110, Communication with the main MCU is abnormal
... whatever that means.
Couldn't find any mention of this error on the Interwebs, on their official forum, nor on their official Facebook group. Excellent.
It then also gives an "abnormal nozzle" during a self-check ... whatever that means.
Checking inside didn't show anything obviously wrong - no loose cabling. Quite a few are actually glued into place. I'm assuming everything is plugged into where it should be ...
Happily, I did get a response from their official email support - nothing useful so far (send proof-of-purchase/warranty & serial number).
Hopefully it's something I can fix myself - re-seat a cable or something ... ?
