Got the COMiX-35 out again last night for the first time in two years. I've noticed that when audio plays it causes issues with the video output, like its losing synch. In this example I'm trying the excellent Boulderdash clone.

I initially thought it was due to my video capture, but direct composite video cable to a screen shows the same issue.

I tried using an Avencore composite-to-HDMI converter which then feeds a HDMI-to-USB adaptor, with video captured by Quicktime on my Mac. I also tried an Elgato composite-to-USB converter and its associated Mac software.

When I look back on my older videos I don't notice this problem:
