Crowded Followed | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
98It's time to archive another horror game and this is an indie horror title with a very interesting gameplay mechanic. It takes inspiration from the movie It Follows where an evil entity is always following the main protagonist at a slow pace. It is always walking and so as long as the main character stays ahead they are fine.
This game takes that same principle as we find a mysterious suitcase and once we touch it we see a scary woman follow us wherever we go. She can even shapeshift into other people to blend in. While she is following us we have to do various tasks like find money to buy a train ticket or find various vip armbands to head into certain sections of a nightclub. The tension that this brings is brilliant and its such a good gameplay mechanic that I would love to see this done with realistic graphics as well.
The game always puts you in very crowded areas which means that it's not always clear where the following entity is.This results in some very effective jump scares when she suddenly does pop up. I also love that you have choices that impact the ending and overall this game is just full of charm. As mentioned before I would love to see this on a grander scale with realistic graphics, because this gameplay loop screams for more as currently there is no other horror game like that out there.
