Neptunia x SENRAN KAGURA: Ninja Wars | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
76I have not played and archived any game from the Neptunia series nor the Senran Kagura series, but today we are archiving the project that was a cross over between the two. I know that some of the games in the series are a bit spicy, but this game is very mellow and a great introduction to both worlds for me.
The lands are being overrun by an army of mechanical ninjas that is being steered by their leader Yoh Gamer. To overcome this mechanical menace, the two rival ninja schools decide to form an alliance. This gives the player to play through different stages and select from a roster of 10 different characters. Each level has you select 2 different characters, so you can mix and match to your heart's content. There are plenty of unlockables like new skills, perks and equipment to use during battle.
The action itsels is very simple with an arcade feel, but it is satisfying. The worlds and characters are colorful and the music is always upbeat. There are a few minigames to partake in as well and some sidquests and overall this is a nice snack for those who are into hack 'n slash RPGs. Maybe next time we will dive into a main game of one of the series!
