The Fox Hare Disaster | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary
131Today we archive another Mascot Horror Game and this time we look at The Fox Hare Disaster. We find ourselves in an abondened mall and need to escape somehow. There are these mysterious mannequins everywhere and posters and merch of the two characters Pinky and Lila.
It does not take long before we come face to face with them in their monster form and now we have to solve various puzzles by finding keys, flipping switches and figuring out codes.
Though the game might feel a bit generic at first, there are some pretty original puzzles and gameplay mechanics that get thrown your way. Especially with the ritual of the ten cards there are some cool moments like a puzzle where you have to change markings on a big mask or playing "red light, green light" with Lila.
Some of the scares were also really effective and it had me jump multiple times. Probably the worst part is the pathing of the AI sometimes as it seems to be tethered to the player and can sometimes camp certain areas which make it difficult to pass through. Overall its a promising start and I am curious what will await us in chapter 2.
