CupChaos: A Mod Full of Potential But Was Gone Too Soon
6I wasn't sure what the next video was gonna be after I've beaten the Hilda Storm 2-Strip Challenge until I stumbled onto the WIP CupChaos mod that I initially installed just to mess around with, unfortunately I then realized that the modder had deleted the mod off of gamebanana.
It's unknown why the mod was deleted but if I had to guess, I would assume they simply just gave up on it and life became too busy to continue development on the mod, oh well.
Anyways, the mod was in a heavy WIP when it was still downloadable, only two bosses were modified which are Grim Matchstick and Werner Werman, there was actually a third boss that was modified too but was never released, that third boss was Moonshine Mob and unfortunately the modder deleted the mod before releasing the Moonshine Mob buff so really only two bosses were modded and were actually released as the Moonshine Mob buff was never actually released and downloadable.
I've decided to try and S Rank both Grim Matchstick and Werner Werman with only Peashooter and of course it was easy, shame the Moonshine Mob buff was never released otherwise I would have tried to S Rank them with Peashooter too, oh well.
I was disappointed especially that this mod was given up on because I saw that the mod had a lot of potential because I felt like the Grim Matchstick and Werner Werman should have been the real Expert difficulty as the actual Expert difficulties for them were so easy without making them too difficult and still have a vanilla like feeling, for Grim Matchsick the clouds move you into him in all 3 Phases without being too tough, the clouds are the reason why so many people say Expert is easier than Regular because the clouds move away from him in Phases 2 and 3 on Expert while into him in Phases 2 and 3 on Regular and for Werner Werman being able to move left and right in Phase 2 aswell as bottle caps actually being active would have been a good twist for Expert as Werner Werman moves left and right in Simple while bottle caps are actually active rather than still in Regular, overall like I said these two buffs could have been the real Expert difficulty for Grim Matchstick and Werner Werman as the given Expert difficulty is so easy for both of them without being too difficult while still having a Vanilla feeling.
Maybe one day the modder will look back into this mod and continue to try and modify the rest of the bosses because of this mod's huge potential I saw but unfortunately I don't see that happening, oh well, regardless, enjoy the Grim Matchstick and Werner Werman S Ranks on this mod with only Peashooter.
