Cyber Brawl - Sega 32X - Intro & playthrough as Bolt with bad ending [HD 1080p]
Full trueplay playthrough / longplay as Bolt / Talmac on original hardware of Cyber Brawl or Cosmic Carnage as it was known in English. This is the USA cartridge played on a Japanese Super 32X and Mega Drive so it defaults to Cyber Brawl. Sadly this is anything but a classic for the console, running at only 30fps for a 2D beat'em up, you can guess something is wrong from the get go. Clearly a rushed 32X game with little in the way of content as it only features eight characters. The slowdown seen in game is the least of your problems, slightly unresponsive controls make special moves a nightmare to pull off. The A.I. is also super defensive meaning winnings fights is more about finding flaws with the A.I. then exploiting them. That's not talking about the rather unbalanced fighter roster and the fact that there are only the same two endings for all the characters. Getting the good endings requires a rather fast completion time, something we failed to do despite only losing one round! On the plus side the collision is pretty much spot on and the human characters being able to change armour per fight is a nice idea. The 16 & 32bit era are full of truly awful, one verse one fighters like Weaponlord, Clay Fighters & Brutal Paws of Fury. Cyber Brawl is a cut above them but still a long way off Mortal Kombat & Street Fighter II.
