Plasma Sword: Nightmare of Bilstein - Sega Dreamcast - Intro & Arcade Rai-on playthrough [1080p60]
Full arcade playthrough / longplay / walkthrough / trueplay of Star Gladiator 2 as the secret boss Rai-on, who really is the Akuma / Gouki of the Star Gladiator series. This includes Rai-on's full secret ending along with a fight against the bonus boss Kaede. The final ninth stage can only be reached if you have a certain battle point score, for two rounds it's 95000. Graphically Plasma Sword looks terrible for a 1998 arcade game and the render engine used means that the game doesn't support VGA on Dreamcast either, forcing the game into VGA causes it to play in a tiny window. It is easy to see why this was the last title in the series, that said the core fighting mechanics and gameplay shine through and as a fighter it is very fun to pick up and play. Even if half the characters are just reskins of one another. Randomised Gaming had previously permanently unlocked Rai-on for play on the Dreamcast version, he can be summon via a cheat code or unlocked if you fight and defeat him them save the game.
These days most people will only remember Hayato from this series as he appeared as a player character in Mavel vs. Capcom 2. Overall this improves hugely on the original game with the added pace and additional super moves. Based on the Capcom Sony ZN-2 Hardware the game itself never got a PS1 release, which is surprising due to the fact the arcade board it ran on used the PlayStation hardware.
