Almost all of the footage has been recorded for the next series. Almost all of the narration has now been done, so just a matter of editing all of the videos. I had this trip booked in March, so I decided to do the waffle video there.
I'd never been to Budapest before, or anything close to it. But I was given an offer I couldn't refuse when it came time to think about getting a hair transplant, saving me 13K on the procedure, all in. While I was there for a week, it gave plenty of time to explore. On the Monday, after recording this video, I went for a walk along the Blue Danube river, and captured the shot of the panorama from a bee-hive lookout point I had found near the end of my road, overlooking the railway. I should have recorded more of my walk, because it is very unlikely I will ever visit the city again. After that, I found a professional choir singing outside of some fancy building, and then headed closer to town. Trams use the roads like cars, and they are the old type, from the 1960s. But the buildings and cars are modern.
Budapest hosts the Hungarian Grand Prix, but the circuit was too far for me to reach. Behind my apartment was a huge railway, and I had planned to take a look at the banks of sidings are carriages before I left. But after my blood test the next day, I decided to walk up to the supermarket to buy groceries, and when I came back, I was hot and exhausted, so spent rest of the day indoors.
After surgery, I recorded the first look at myself in the mirror. It was a surprise to see myself bald, but there wasn't any pain. The hardest part was having to sit up straight while sleeping in bed for two weeks after the surgery, but it soon passed. The new hair is guaranteed for life, so money well spent.
