Murphy Models (Bachmann) MM0141A CIE GM 141 Class Diesel Locomotive B141 (OO Gauge) Review HD
This is the first of the two Murphy Models Irish locomotives that I received for my birthday just over two weeks ago and this one is a Bachmann GM 141 class Diesel Locomotive that is based on B141 is its "Preserved" condition and I have been meaning to get one of these locomotives for a while, which I am pleased I have because I like the detail on these light locomotives as well. I have fitted the vacuum brake pipes and also the roof mounted horns as these came in a packet and although the horns were moderately easy to fit. The vacuum brake pipes were a challenge but my sheer determination to fit has paid off. The box states its an 8-pin chassis but this model is actually a 21-pin type for DCC use. All in all, it is a great model to add to my slowly growing Irish model railway fleet and B141 looks at home with the Bachmann/Murphy Models RSPI Mk2's that are seen in the test run portion of the video which have also recently joined my fleet as well. I have used my GM 201 class locomotive which is 222 "River Dargle" with my Mk3's as a background train for good effect in the video.
