Arguably the best Axe in the game, some players will say that Millwood axe is better, I think Millwood Axe is just easy against people who don't know what they're doing though

Here's are some of my thoughts on the weapon:

1. The game mostly revolves around spamming your R1, as nooby as that sounds. You have the Dash R2, and regular R2, those moves are just kind of slow and don't really offer the range that you would get from something like Lothric Sword... and the weapon art is just your self buff. But what's nice about the R1 is how easily it roll catches players on the third R1 if they panic rolled. In fact the nice timing on the swings makes roll catching easy in most cases.

2. It's a fairly lightweight weapon, so I used that to bring Yhorm's shield with me, a noteably more stable shield than Black Knights, with higher absorption for all damage types as well. In a way I felt like I was bring the strength version of the Lothric Dark Turtle build, I even took int to 11 for using Dragonhead shield. You can also consider bringing a lighter shield with you if you want, including Black Knight's.

3. Besides having a very low stamina cost, and being able to chip through shields, I really noticed how easily I was guard breaking opponents. Axes deal higher stam and poise damage than straight swords, and I think maybe my opponents just weren't used to that because axes right now are a little underused in PVP.

4. I did have to fight some straight swords and spears, but there was a particular fight against a Corvian Greatscythe, where I really felt like the matchup had gotten very close. He was going to chip through Yhorm's, but also outranged my Axe, so this was a difficult match, I should've tried swapping to Dragonhead shield to help me with his aggressive approaches.

So there you go! I don't have a lot of negative things to say about this weapon at all, it's pretty darn good in duels. Not so useful for invasions if that's your thing, especially considering all the good strength weapons I could be using for a Gank Spank.
