Dark Souls 3 - PVP - Demon's Fist + Hornet Ring [v1]
112I thought to use Harald armor to hide the fact that I am carrying two sets of Demon Fists, I originally discovered this when playing with crow talons on a smough build.
The trick is to focus on using Demon Fist's like you might normally use them, but to analyze your opponent and look for the opportunity you need in order to parry them. Then roll or do a turn and swap to offhand Demon Fist as a parry tool, and go in for the parry.
Your opponent learns that he must be concerned about both your weapon art, and being parried - like having two weapon arts. At the same time I am using heal miracles to force my opponent to chase me, a really important tactic since the range on demon fist are so short and really rely on baiting out attacks from my opponents.
If I land a parry, the fight would be nearly over at about 1000 damage per riposte. Backstabs varied but usually I got about 700.
Meanwhile I might use my opponent's hesitation to be more aggressive and chase them down with the L1 running attack!
It's also important to be practiced with the WA Flame Whirlwind, since you can use it to trade and knock your opponent over.
