Lucerne was excellent! It has some distinct qualities that help it stand out from the other Halberds. Here they are:

1. I'll start by mentioning the low stat reqs means this weapon can be in diverse builds, including a low level deep/fire/raw build that receives a great 400 AR

2. Lucerne has innate shield piercing, which I assume stacks on top of the chip damage you might have on a dark infusion or in this case a Darkmoon blade buff.

3. Lucerne can poise through popular light weapons like the straight sword and curved sword with it's R1, the weapon art has lots of hyper armor as well.

4. A big benefit to using Lucerne is that it works with Leo Ring, so you can poise through attacks, get that bonus damage, and start up the WA combo. (R1, L2, R1). Technically the WA R2 does slightly more damage, so you can lead with the WA. Just be sure to hit confirm before starting the R2 so you don't get backstab punished!!

The major downside to Lucerne is that it's outdamaged by the Splitleaf (basically all the halberds are, which is very annoying balance) and both splitleaf and lucerne are a little slow at very high levels of PVP.
