Dark Souls Boss Guide - Part 18 - The Four Kings
101It has finally come down to this, the epic struggle against the Four Kings of New Londo! This video is the main reason I wanted to do this boss guide series in the first place! They are definitely the hardest fight in the game the first time through and certainly the most difficult of subsequent NG+ runs due to their increasing amount of health.
This video has three basic parts. The first part is getting your equipment set up. We'll be using a +5 Lightning Halberd for DPS and a few pieces of Havel's armor plus the Wolf Ring for extra poise and a Crest Shield for magic blocking. The second part is the fight proper, including a breakdown of all of their moves except one (mentioned in the video...they were stubborn and never used it).
The last part covers how to fight them naked and without a shield in case fighting them with armor and protection is too easy for you!
