This is a pretty short stage if you know what you're doing, but it's a deathtrap if you don't. There are swinging guillotines everywhere over several high pits with increasingly narrow bridges. The first time I came here in early 2012, I got knocked down several times before I finished.
I summoned Black Iron Tarkus for the boss because he does a ton of damage per hit. Sometimes I let Tarkus solo the boss to see if he'll win, which he often does depending on the AI, but I just wanted to progress this time.
Iron Golem - much like the Tower Knight in Demon's Souls, after you hit his foot enough times, he'll fall down and be helpless, allowing you to get free hits. You can even make him fall off depending on where he staggers! You have to be careful, because he can grab you and throw you off if you're unlucky. Don't lock on, use equipment to make your stamina regenerate faster, and go crazy attacking his feet until he falls so you can finish him off.
