This is a nostalgic playthrough that I did of Dark Souls at NG4.

This is a really short video because Darkroot is not very long if you have the Crest of Artorias.


Moonlight Butterfly - if you have a sorcery character, great, it'll be fast and easy for you. If you have a bow, you can take shots at it while it flies around. When it finally flies down to the bridge, two hand your weapon and go crazy, but be careful, because it will do an AoE attack before it takes off again. The Crest Shield helps with blocking its magic attacks. You get the Divine Ember by beating this boss. It's up the tower after you finish.


Sif - with a +14 Tower Kite or Caduceus Shield, you can safely block all of Sif's hits with good stamina management. That's what I normally do, but I wanted to be a cool guy in this video, and so I rolled through some of the more dangerous attacks. Basically just try to stay under Sif and hit him. If he gets stuck walking back from you while you're chasing him, just back off for a second or two and then he'll come at you again. Don't forget the Hornet Ring behind the gravestone in the boss arena.
