ITEMS SCAVENGED:

ZWEIHANDER:
Ultra Greatsword
130 base damage
NORMAL damage
Scales C with STR and D with DEX.
Requirements: 24 STR and 10 DEX.
Powerufl and slow, and a lovely starting tool for the beginning berserker.

TALISMAN:
Talisman
Magic Adjustment:
19 If you do not meet requirements.
112 if you do
200 at 99 Faith.
There are better Talismans. This is a freebie and a good starter for the aspiring cleric. (though actual clerics start with a better talisman)

HOMEWARD BONE:
Sends you back to your last bonfire. Nifty, but not THAT great.

CRACKED RED EYE ORB:
Invade another player. Must be human to do so. When invading you can kill the host to get his souls and humanity. Fail and this item will NOT be consumed. How nice.

MORNING STAR:
Hammer
83 base damage
STRIKE damage
Scales C with STR
Requirements: 11 STR
A decent weapon. Does 33 bleed build up per hit and once enough build up is dealt the enemy loses 30% of their max HP. Not a great hammer, but the bleeding damage makes up for it.

WINGED SPEAR:
Spear
86 base damage
THRUST damage
Scales E with STR and C with DEX
Requirements: 13 STR and 15 DEX.
Perfect for a dex build that wants a nice spear.

BINOCULARS:
Can be chosen as gift. Allows you to zoom in a little. It's use is debatable.

ASTORA'S STRAIGHT SWORD
Straight sword
80 base damage for both phyiscal AND magical.
NORMAL damage
Scales C with STR, DEX and FAITH.
Requirements: 10 STR and 10 DEX and 14 FAITH
Deals 20% more damage against undead. (DIVINE 120)
A powerful weapon for the melee oriented faith user. A decent sword ,not too heavy or slow with a good bit of swing.

DRAGON CREST SHIELD:
Normal Sized Shield
55 Stability
Stops:
- 100 % physical
- 20 % magical
- 85 % fire
- 45 % lightning
Requires 10 STR
A lovely shield for starting classes, possessing good defenses and stability all around. It's fire damage reduction is quite high.

ESTOC:
Thrusting Sword
75 base damage
PIERCING damage
Scales D with STR and C with DEX
Requirements: 10 STR and 12 DEX
A powerful tool for more fencing oriented players. Because of its damage type, it is a better match for armored foes than most straight swords.
