Undead Burg is a fancy place. It teaches how it's easy to get overwhelmed. Having a bow and arrow makes it a breeze. Having patience and focusing is also recommended. Finally, have a decent shield.
For the most part, there's very little going on here. The enemies are generic though the layout is very memorable, if only because most people die on the boss and or Knight.
Don't try to fight the knight. His shield and weapon are nice, but you don't really need the Blue Tear stone Ring or Titanite Chunk. If you can't beat him, wait until later.
The Crystal Lizard drops a few things that will be fun later, but really don't do much for now.
