The Undead Parish is a weird place. There's very few goodies on the floor and it's a very wiggly path to the finish. There are a few shortcurts and alternate paths, should the player feel like it
The Undead Parish tests your wit and cunning, if anything. Raw strength is fine, but a lot of stronger foes there are best tackled from afar.
The Armored Boar is a weird boss, though you'll see him again later, in another form, with less exposed butt. Weirder still, he appears at the start of the Parish, unlike many other minibosses.
His exposed tush takes more damage and can be backstabbed.
Alternatively, lure him, with Alluring Skulls of yourself, into the fire for slow but steady damage.
Neither strategy will work with the rematch, though.
With about 300 HP, 500 souls to give and a fancy but HEAVY helmet, this boss if a test of wit and trickery. A direct assault will kill you.
The Channeller isn't much of a miniboss. He's weak and doesn't get a big angle to stop you from getting to him. However, that's not his game. He is more of a normal enemy, especially later on.
However, his game is not to attack you himself. He can use Soul Arrows and his trident, or even teleport. But, his worst move is to buff enemies. When buffed, enemies deal massive damage and even a few humble zombies can put up a grand fight.
Kill him from a distance, as he does not respawn.
The Heavy Knight is a big boy. He's a very uncommon one, but though. With about 400 HP and a lot of defense, he's a worthy foe. With devastating moves and a powerful shield, your best offense is to lure out attacks and strike while he's busy being slow.
He always drops a titanite shard here, but can drop a few other goodies as well, from what I hear.
