Crit squad is a ,,damage-stress" team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Bounty hunter (Grappling Mits + accuracy trinket) - deathblow dealer
2nd: Occultist (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
3rd: Houndmaster (dodge trinket + damage trinket) - damage dealer
4th: Arbalest (Stabilizing Tiller + healing trinket) - damage dealer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) Great healing potential
6) 3 disruptors
7) 3 deathblowers
CONS:
1) DoT is a menace
2) Stress is a menace
3) Disruption is a menace
4) RNGsus is a menace
Crit squad is a nice damage team, that combines also stress and DoT. All characters can use the full potential of mark synergy, next you have 3 (self)healers, 3 disruptors and 3 deathblowers (if we count Occultist’s „Sacrificial stab“ on afflicted character & Arbalest’s „Sniper shot“ on marked character). Sadly this team is vulnerable against stress and DoT teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „double finisher“, „mark team“, „mix damage + DoT“ and „full stress“. The „mark team“ strategy is the best for playing.
My advice: Start with Bounty hunter for disruption / marking, next use Houndmaster for dealing great damage to the marked character, then Occultist for stressing / disruption and lastly Arbalest for dealing massive damage.
About score: A match against novice player - after starting the match, he didn’t make any single move until 3rd turn, where he just surrendered. He could fight, but instead just left the match. One day I will show you this „match“.
About team: What a team. With a powerful mark synergy you can obliterated any opponent. Sadly I failed 3x - once against darkest player with based team, once against novice player with DoT team and once against apprentice player with stress team. I don’t know why or how it’s possible to win against harder opponents, but lose to easier opponents? I don’t know. Switching to other strategies can be difficult, so „mark team“ is the best choice. I would gladly give them higher rate, sadly… I lost 2x against novice players. That’s horrible. And if you look closely, the stress healing isn’t that good (didn’t tried Houndmaster’s „Cry havoc“, because you need him as damager), so… Good team, but kinda mid.
