Hit squad (DD) is a ,,damage-stress" team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Highwayman (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
2nd: Houndmaster (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
3rd: Occultist (dodge trinket + accuracy trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Arbalest (Stabilizing Tiller + healing trinket) - damage dealer
PROS:
1) Mark synergy (Houndmaster / Occultist / Arbalest + Highwayman)
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) Great healing potential
6) 3 disruptors
7) 3 deathblowers
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) Disruption is a menace
3) RNGsus is a menace
Hit squad (DD) is a nice damage team, that combines also stress and DoT. You have 3 disruptors, 3 deathblowers (if we count Occultist’s „Sacrificial stab“ on afflicted character & Arbalest’s „Sniper shot“ on marked character), 3 (self) healers and very powerful mark synergy. Sadly this team is vulnerable against stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, such as „mix damage + DoT“, „the finishers“, „full stress“ and „mark team“. I tried both variantions of Highwayman (bandit / gunslinger), it’s better to stick with bandit version.
My advice: Start with Occultist for disruption, next use Highwayman for dealing massive damage, then Houndmaster for marking someone and lastly Arbalest for dealing massive damage.
What a team! You can make great pressure thanks to powerful mark synergy and DoT. Unfortunately the stress is a big issue, you don’t have good stress healing (Houndmaster should be damager, not supporteer). I lost 2x, once against veteran player with stress team and once against champion player with stress team. What was suprise for me, playing against harder opponents was much easier, than novice players. I really struggled hardly, you can see the frustration in 4th match, when I accidentally open a character sheet. If you stick and use the full potential of mark synergy, you can’t lose. I like this team.
