Observational study is a ,,stress-DoT" team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Abomination (damage trinket + stress trinket) - damage dealer
2nd: Antiquarian (dodge trinket + Tears of the Lost) - DoT dealer
3rd: Occultist (dodge trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
4th: Plague doctor (accuracy trinket + stress trinket) - stress dealer
PROS:
1) Great stress output
2) Great DoT output
3) Great healing potential
4) 3 disruptors
CONS:
1) Marks are a menace
2) Stuns are a menace
3) Stress is a menace
4) DoT is a menace
5) Disruption is a menace
Observational study is a nice stress team with great strength of DoT and little bit of pure damage. All characters can (self)heal, next you have 3 disruptors and many ways for applying stress and DoT. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, such as „full DoT“, „the finishers“, „full stress“ and „virtue team“. I tried both variantions of Abomination (melee beast / DoT puker), it’s better to stick with melee beast version. And both variantions of Plague doctor (damager / stresser), both variantions are good.
My advice: Start with Occultist OR Abomination for disruption, next use Antiquarian for applying DoT and lastly Plague doctor for stressing / healing.
What a team! Firstly I didn’t expect some victories, but it’s done. The powerful stress & DoT output will help you in the match, so many choices and approaches for beating the opponent. Unfortunately against mark team you don’t have much chances. I lost 2x against the same darkest player with same DoT team (Crusader + Flagellant combo). The team is actually good, unfortunately I got only these players. The 4th match was quite interesting and fun to play. Sadly this team have a few disadvantages, like low damage output or fragility. It’s kinda mid, but still it was fun to play them!
