Garbage squad is a ,,stress-DoT“ team, here are roles of characters:
1st: Hellion (accuracy trinket + damage trinket) - deathblow dealer
2nd: Man at arms (Protector’s Kite + stun resist trinket) - guardian
3rd: Abomination (damage trinkets) - damage dealer
4th: Antiquarian (dodge trinket + Tears of the Lost) - healer
PROS:
1) Porcupine
2) Great damage output
3) Great stress output
4) Great DoT output
5) Great healing output
6) 2 disruptors
7) 2 guardians
CONS:
1) Stress is a menace
2) Marks are a menace
3) Stuns are a menace
Garbage squad is a stress team with great strength of DoT and pure damage. You have 3 (self)healers, 2 riposters, 2 guardians and 2 disruptors. Sadly this team is vulnerable against mark and stress teams.
I tried to play a few strategies, like „double finisher“, „porcupine“, „virtue team“ and „full stress“. I tried also both variantions of Hellion (damager / stresser) and Man at arms (damager / stresser), both are actually good. And also Abomination (melee beast / DoT puker), DoT puker is more advantagable.
My advice: Start with Abomination for opening the riposte, next use Hellion for applying DoT OR dealing some damage. Next Man at arms for buffing the team and lastly Antiquarian for regeneration.
I have mixed feelings about this team. First things first, it’s garbage. Literally and metaphorically. You can make some pressure for opponent, but the team is very low accurate. The Man at arms‘ „Command“ spam doesn’t save you, because you need him not only as supporteer. I played only against these players and lost only one match against darkest player with damage team. Also I met one champion player with mark team and almost defeat him, sadly tactical desync took the victory from me. Playing this team wasn’t fun, mostly „meh“, but you have some chances to defeat harder opponents.
