Darwin Project quite possibly wins the award for the first battle royale game that I can tolerate (and even enjoy in bursts).

10 people in a small-scale but still decently large arena, fighting to survive the cold, yet retains much of the same tension inherent in BR games. The way this game handles it makes the experience just that much more palatable than, say, Fortnite BR or PUBG personally.

The show director concept is also unique, probably the first time you have an omnipotent being to affect and shape how the game is run. Honestly want to see which direction this game goes.

Access to Closed Alpha was granted by Evolve Terminals. The devs were super awesome and allowed everyone, including those that participated in open betas, to continue having access to the game. :D
