This trick has been featured in a couple of videos so far, but I thought it might be useful to dedicate its own video series to only Sigourney break-outs. How is the glitch started and what do its various effects look like?

0:00 - This game has a side quest where you have to drive Sigourney, who appears at semi-random spots around Greenvale, to her home within a certain time limit (around 5 minutes real time?).

Normally York can't leave his car during the drive, making this side quest a rather simple job of getting from point A to point B within the given time. However, Psychic Spot A is a mission circle that can be driven into while giving a ride to Sigourney. This interrupts the side quest, allowing York to leave his car and do any other activities while the timer of the Sigourney quest remains active in the background.

The Sigourney timer operates under different rules than the in-game timer. It stops during some actions during which time normally runs (like hiding in a dumpster). Changing maps from outdoors to indoors also ends this glitch, so you can't take Sigourney inside buildings or anything like that.

(Not on the video: mission circles can also be used to start this glitch. However, quite often a mission circle takes York indoors and therefore prevents the possibility of doing Sigourney break-out.)

(Not on the video: saving & loading in the overworld keeps the Sigourney timer active. This makes it much easier to test various results, f.e. you can make a save with only tens of seconds left until that fateful moment where Sigourney's pot is cold. However, if you do this glitch after saving & loading, Sigourney's model will not be loaded, making the overlapped cutscene more zoomed out. In this case, the game can potentially crash if you watch it in full.)

0:37 - Hiding in a dumpster as Sigourney cutscene activates causes York to become displaced. Otherwise things seem to work pretty normally. To note, you can't leave the dumpster early while the cutscene is playing.

If Sigourney's model is loaded, the camera tries to include her in the range of the cutscene. Afterwards, she will pop out next to York to essentially any location in the overworld.

1:44 - Fishing works relatively normally in the background of the glitchy looking Sigourney cutscene. Afterwards, Sigourney is placed at the end of the pier where York is currently fishing. Also, I manage to get a rare catch despite having no visibility! Good fishing.

2:37 - Sigourney's side quest can be restarted by talking to her wherever she is (as long as she can be reached by the player). The game adapts the starting point of the quest accordingly, so this works out surprisingly normally.

Also, in this clip I'd started this glitch by driving to the Chapter 12 mission circle, causing Emily and Thomas to also be in York's car for no good reason. More about this in the glitch video series about Chapter 12 mission overlaps, I guess...

4:00 - These various overlap / break-out glitches produce different results depending on your timing and input. For instance, skipping Sigourney cutscene entirely or ending fishing activity before the cutscene ends can create some changes to what the glitch looks like and what happens afterwards.

In this clip I end the fishing mini-game before the Sigourney cutscene is over. This makes the screen go dark for almost the entire cutscene. Afterwards, York becomes invisible.

4:44 - Just some fishing with Sigourney. Although, her nervous energy is suddenly making this whole activity much less relaxing...
