Demon: the Fallen - Lore of Paths - a brief narrative follow-up (one scene)
40This episode is an off the top of my head, narrative/recap-style example of the second Evocation of the Lore of Paths as it would be used during a scene.
I wrote down the first things that came to mind, so it's nothing pretentious, by any means :D
I just wanted to do a quick walk-through containing a little bit of everything:
- setting the scene and the conflict
- showing how the players might use the second dot of this Lore (in the given context) and just how many options it offers (and the properties given are very basic, mind you!)
- going into the rules a little bit, since the storyteller needs to keep track of difficulty modifiers and tell the player what their difficulties are for creating a path with certain properties
- showing the awesome results of a good roll and the effectiveness of this evocation in a way that solves the conflict and keeps narration going
