Skipping most of Mission 5 using the Skewer wall clip tactic... again! Due to how triggers work in the level, there are a few subtle variations of this trick. Two are more suitable for New Game+, one is more suitable for regular New Game.

---

0:00 - First of all, a semi-reliable setup for getting out near the start of the level. Credit goes to KaioSekka for this idea.

There's an elevated corner near where the level starts. Get V on the corner and move Shadow near the root. On this spot V is at the right height to get clipped through walls by Skewer; all you need to worry about is the angle of the spike. With careful use of lock-on, you can keep adjusting the angle a little by little until you finally find the one that pops V through the walls. Also, I recommend spamming 'taunt' all the time so that V becomes suspended in air doing an air taunt once he finally clips through.

0:21 - Once you're on the other side, running to the left and dropping down lets you reach the underground tunnel fight early. However: the location matters a lot. You can use the yellow lines on the floor texture as guidelines of where you should drop down.

This first variation of the trick (mainly intended for NG+) requires you to jump down through a hole in the floor before the small pipe. This drops you down on top of the underground tunnel fight arena as the fight is about to start. Summoning Nightmare and using Promotion allows you to get in-bounds. All in all, this skips all other fights in the level except this one and the final boss. Time save could be as much as 2,5 minutes.

0:45 - Often after doing this skip Shadow will still be out of bounds. You have to call him back by dodging before he becomes useful in combat again.

0:53 - Second variation of the trick is also for NG+. This skips the underground tunnel fight as well - effectively skipping ALL the fights in the level (other than the boss) - but the drawback is that it requires extra precision.

You basically do the same thing as before, except you extend your jump before landing down on the underground tunnel. You should do a few air attacks after going below ground level, followed by double jump and Hanging. Done right, V will go over the fight trigger. You can go back in bounds with Promotion as usual, but there are no enemies to contend with there.

The risk is that there are large invisible loading zones in the area which will softlock the game if you hit them. Basically: if you are too high when you try to jump over the fight trigger, you will get softlocked. Going from too far left or right may also softlock the game. It's the runner's choice if they want to do a potentially run ending jump to skip one extra fight.

1:36 - Around this time you get a superfluous cutscene from an earlier skipped fight showing some red barriers dissipating. Nothing to worry about.

1:59 - Finally, there's one variation of the skip that doesn't require Promotion and is thus more suitable for NG. However, it doesn't skip the underground tunnel fight and it also carries a decent risk for a softlock.

This time around you want to jump down from more to the right and past the pipe. There's another hole in the floor there. Start doing air attacks while descending to slow down your fall.

The timing is critical here. You see, if you fall too close to the level and hit one of those invisible loading zones, the game will softlock. Before that happens, you need to hit the fight trigger and quickly use Gambit on one of the enemies. This sends V in-bounds before the level's collision has loaded, after which the game ostensibly fully loads the area using some different procedure which is not as softlock-happy.

Done correctly, the fight will proceed as normal, although some of the enemies from the first wave are missing.

(Not on the video: On NG, it's also possible to spawn back in bounds by hitting some collision from the underground tunnel while falling down under the map. This could be a less softlock-heavy alternative to the skip, but also slower (especially on console). Thanks to Krotus.

(Not on the video: If you're on NG+ and want to avoid risk altogether, there's one more version of this skip where you don't go very far out of bounds. You basically just clip into the area that leads to the underground tunnel early. Discovered by whitelion.
