How to Fix Armour - https://youtu.be/xVNN7qwFpKY
SCRIPT:
Today we are going to talk about devs speaking on patches, pr team and company decisions.

Yesterdays Dev Talk Video - https://youtu.be/zssGLNS7uMY
Bannerlord forums - https://bit.ly/2YQdTXh

- First we have a player stating that the developer previously stated that
the game is confirmed to be going for action with strategy sprinkled in the
mix.

Now before i get to the dev response, i am going to show you guys the original posts by the developer. Also the player who made this statement is known for making blanket statements and spreading unnecessary negative messages in the forums. You can pause if you would like, i have gone over these messages in a previous video.

Now the dev responded that he was not speaking on behalf of the company, but from his own experience. He states that it is more action RPG and also has strategy. Also is not opposed to drawn out sieges and large battles.

Like i stated in a previous video, his statement does hold weight in my opinion because the game at its core is based on leveling your character, growing an army and fighting. Yes there is strategy and things you can do, but fighting which is action is a huge part of the game.

Also like i stated the person who made this statement likes to pick and choose small parts of a statement to fit his agenda.

Next we have a different player asking if visuals made by the PR team showcase the most important patches in the game. Also stating if this is true, then the visuals made for the autosave update are more important than other issues in the game.

The devs respond that they have a small PR team that does visuals when they see it fit. Also states that the player might not see it as a valuable change, but others do.

Personally i do not understand the recent witch hunt that has been going on in the forums where every hotfix and every change is criticized to the grave
because its not what a specific few in the forums want to see. These few also spread a lot of negative messages and false statements that others take at face value. For these people, if they are watching, you need to grow up and realize that people dont need to cater to you and the world does not revolve around your problems. Either be patient or leave the game, trust me it would be better with you off the forums.

Also, in my opinion the change to auto saves where saves were decreased in size by 80% and also added 3 auto save slots so it is easier to reload if a mistake or bug happens is an amazing fix and should be in every game.

- Second we have the previous player stating that the dev did not answer his question and reiterates if the changes that are posted on social media as
a showcase or a made visual what the dev team sees as the most important fixes.

Devs respond stating that they post a ton on social media and has no idea why that specific post bothers this player.

Now first i want to explain to the player that the statements that were made
and questions asked were very hard to follow and it took me a couple times to read to somewhat understand it, so it might be hard for the devs to respond because most are not native English speakers.

Now to the devs, the reason there is a problem to this player is because
the fixes that this specific player wanted were not made and now he wants to prove some outlandish theory that the devs dont care about the big problems in the game, but insist on making small changes to upset the community.

Personally this is common sense to me, a lot of companies have PR teams that choose changes and make visuals and posts about them, its not part of some agenda to upset fans and player, but a way to showcase features.

- Third we have the same player again asking if the auto save was on the top of the list when it comes to important changes and if all other changes are not as important.

The devs respond that there is no tier list when it comes to changes based on some scoring system. Also the social media posts have no correlation to how updates are ranked in the devs minds.

Also stated if this player had more feedback on what should of been posted, to reply and the devs will send it to the social media team.

Again this is common sense, a development team has stuff that is priority
and stuff that is being worked on. There is also different teams working on
different issues and changes, so i do not believe they have a top 10 fixes
chart, more like a priority list for each team and also things to work on
in general.

Lastly i am going to end this video in the same way i ended most update
and dev talk videos, i want to thank the developers for staying active and
bringing good changes.

Also an early access game, if you are playing on the beta, do not expect the
the gameplay to be stable, it is a beta branch meant for play testing and
reporting.
